A Mount Olive man authorities say was involved in several shootings, plead guilty in federal court Monday to a related firearms charge.
Demarlo Tevon Kornegay plead guilty to unlawful possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
That's according to U-S Attorney George E.B. Holding.
Officials say Kornegay was involved in numerous shootings between December 2007 and May 2009 when he was arrested.
If the court deems Kornegay an armed career criminal, he could face life in prison.
Sentencing is set for January 4th, 2010.
