Man Dies In Morning House Fire

A Wayne County man is dead after a fire ripped through a home Thursday morning in Dudley.

Three people were inside the home on Camp Trailee Road when rescuers got the call at 5:35 a.m.

Deputies say Dennis Anderson, Jr. wasn't able to get out of the home and died. His body was discovered by firefighters.

Firefighters from three volunteer departments fought the blaze, but there's no word on what caused the deadly fire.

The State Bureau of Investigation will assist in the investigation.
