Four Charged In Wayne County Drug Bust

Three men all living under the same roof plus an additional man are facing charges after lawmen conducted a drug bust.

The Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Squad says they got about $1600 worth of marijuana and ecstasy off the streets. Four people are under arrest after lawmen's investigation over the last several weeks.

An original news release from the sheriff's department incorrectly listed the amount at $620,000.

18-year-old Antonio Braswell, 19-year-old Rashad Jaquan Burt, and 20-year-old Douglas Ray Boseman, all of of Tiffany Rd. in Goldsboro, along with 21-year-old Antonio Applewhite of Mill Creek Court in Goldsboro are all facing charges for marijuana.

Boseman is facing an additional charge for ecstasy.

Despite the large amount of money lawmen say the drugs they seized were worth, bond for three of the suspects was set at $2,000. The other bond was $500.

With such a low bond why did they even bother to lock them up? They might just as well have released them on their own recognizance. The bond is a joke. They are probably already out on the street again.

Why not sell the stuff to another country, get the money and help out the USA? Why not? We need the money for the tax checks, education, and all the welfare money we give out. Lets think of a new plan to help the americans!
