CARTHAGE, N.C. (AP) -- Former professional wrestling star Matt Hardy is facing drug charges after police searched his home in Cameron.
The Fayetteville Observer reports that Hardy was arrested Tuesday by Moore County sheriff's deputies. Police say it's the former WWE star's third arrest in less than a month.
Hardy faces multiple charges stemming from the search, which took place last week. Police say they found 20 vials of anabolic steroids and a hit of ecstasy.
He was released on a written promise to appear in Moore County court. It wasn't immediately clear Tuesday if he has a lawyer.
Since August, he's also been charged twice with driving while impaired. He has court dates pending in both those cases.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Former professional wrestler Matt Hardy is facing a driving while impaired charge for the second time in less than a month.
The Fayetteville Observer reported Thursday that police at Raleigh-Durham International Airport arrested Hardy on Monday. A police report said a driver reported a 2011 red Chevrolet Camaro was swerving across traffic and had nearly hit two different cars three times.
Police said a breathalyzer test was negative, but Hardy failed a field sobriety test.
In August, Hardy's car ran off a Moore County road and hit a tree. He has a Sept. 28 court appearance in that case, and a Nov. 30 court appearance in Raleigh in the latest incident.
Hardy and his brother Jeff made up a popular pro wrestling team known as the Hardy Boyz.
