RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina State center Jordan Vandenberg will be out 4-6 weeks due to an ankle injury.
The school says the fifth-year senior suffered a Grade 3 sprain of his left ankle during Wednesday's exhibition win against UNC Pembroke. Vandenberg started and had a pair of dunks before he was hurt at the 14:59 mark of the opening half.
Vandenberg is one of three returning scholarship players who saw action last year for the Wolfpack.
N.C. State plays Morehouse in an exhibition Saturday, then opens the regular season Friday against Appalachian State.
