Kane, Ladd Score In Jets' 3-1 Win Over Hurricanes

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Evander Kane and Andrew Ladd each scored, leading the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night.

Bryan Little added an empty-net goal with 9 seconds left to seal the victory.

Chris Mason made 19 saves for the Jets, who have earned points in five straight games (4-0-1). Winnipeg hadn't won on the road since Nov. 3.

Jiri Tlutsy scored for Carolina. The Hurricanes had earned points in their previous three games, but they remain at the bottom of the Southeast Division standings. Cam Ward made 27 saves for Carolina.
