Hurricanes Fall To Bruins At Home 3-2

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Nathan Horton and Patrice Bergeron scored early in the third period and the Boston Bruins held on for a 3-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night.

Daniel Paille also scored for Boston, giving the Bruins three wins in their four meetings with Carolina this season.

Boston's Tim Thomas stopped 25 shots and Carolina's Cam Ward stopped 31 in a matchup of goalies from the All-Star Game.

Jamie McBain and Joe Corvo scored for Carolina goals. Corvo's scoring streak stretched to six games.
