Authorities say two people have died after their home burned in Johnston County.

Investigators say the blaze was reported around 2 a.m. Saturday and destroyed the house near Angier.

Authorities say they haven't determined the cause of the fire, but they don't think it was intentionally set.

The bodies of the couple have been sent for autopsies. Their names have not been released.

Friends of the couple say they lived on land that had been with their family for generations and the home which burned down was built more than 150 years ago.
