Raleigh Is Ranked Best In The Nation

The state's capital has earned top honors as Businessweek's best city in the country.

The magazine says Raleigh is the best city in the country based on things like wealth of culture, entertainment, education, low crime rate and plenty of green space.

The article credits the "cultural graces" that go along with the Research Triangle Park and the three universities in the area.

Someone might want to rethink this. Former Gov. Mike Easely convicted felon, former Agriculture Commissioner Meg Scott Phipps convicted felon, Former Speaker of the House, Jim Black, convicted felon, former Rep, Micheal Decker convicted felon. Sitting Gov. Bev Perdue using state helicopter for campaigning. Best in the Nation for government corruption maybe, but thats about it.
