A suspicious box left at the North Carolina Department of Revenue office in Durham turned out to be a box of dental tools.
A bomb squad was called in Tuesday morning after the package was found at the tax office on Westgate Drive.
The office was evacuated and nearby roads were shut down as a precaution.

A spokeswoman with the Durham Police Department said Tuesday the office has been evacuated and nearby roads have been closed. The Department of Revenue collects the state's taxes.
Authorities in Durham also are responding to another part of town after a report of what appears to be a mortar round. Several homes have been evacuated after the device was found in a yard.
