Grisham UNC Commencement Speaker

Students graduating from the University of North Carolina will hear a commencement address from best-selling author John Grisham, whose daughter is a UNC graduate.

Chancellor Holden Thorp will preside over the ceremony that begins Sunday morning in Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.

Grisham also has spoken at two North Carolina Literary Festivals held on campus -- in 1998 and the most recent festival in September 2009. His daughter, Shea, graduated from UNC in 2008 with a degree in elementary education.

Grisham's latest book, "Ford County," was published in November and is his first collection of short stories.

DS: The speaker at "little ECU" might be able to save you and the rest of America a great deal of money, if the President will listen to what he has to say. That was an ignorant comment you posted, but I guess all you UNC graduates aren't in need of any help, economic or otherwise.

It's good to see that UNC got an awesome speaker unlike little ECU did.
