Governor Worried About Lack Of Small Biz Loans

North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue wants the federal government to ease tight credit markets making it hard for small banks to lend money to growing businesses.

Perdue said on Monday she planned to meet with the head of the Small Business Administration before her trip to Washington for the National Governors Association ends. Perdue has been in the nation's capital since Saturday.

She told reporters in a phone call that community banks in the state tell her they're over-regulated by Washington and hesitant to lend. The governor would like the Obama administration to create a small loan pool.

Perdue also said she told Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood her disappointment about only receiving $10 million in federal stimulus grants to replace the aging Yadkin River bridge along Interstate 85.

The banks want to lend money. But 2 things have to happen to make that work. 1) They need to have a decent business model OR they will go bankrupt like what the Dems forced on the banks that caused the last crisis 2) They businesses actually need to desire a loan which they NEVER will as long as the Obama administration is so anti-business and vilifies anyone who is willing to take a risk with the hope of possibly making a.......PROFIT!! I know you Dems just threw up a little with that horrible word. I will give you a word that always makes Dems feel better.....HANDOUT!!

Even I (Josephus Jr) knows the answer to that."Simply because the state don't have any money". They owe Me A Bubberleen $129.32 (Which We Need Bad)Looks like another Bad Year For The State Treasury.
