Duke LAX Accuser Arrested

The accuser in the Duke Lacrosse rape case has been arrested for arson and assault charges.

31-year-old Crystal Mangum was arrested late Wednesday night after a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, Milton Walker, according to police in Durham. Officers responded to 2220 Lincoln in Durham. Detectives say Mangum tried to set clothes on fire in a bathtub. Mangum, Walker and three children were evacuated from the apartment because of the fire. Fire crews extinguished the flames.

Mangum was charged with five counts of arson, simple assault, ID theft, communicating threat, damage to property, resist delay and obstruct and three counts of child endangerment.

Mangum was the center of the Duke Lacrosse Team rape investigation in March of 2006. Charges against the players in the infamous case were eventually dropped.

Maybe she can get the ex-District Attorney to represent her again. That is, if he didn't lose his license to practice law and didn't end up in jail. I never heard much about him after that long, drawn out scandal ended. Hopefully, it'll stay that way. That guy gave lawyers a bad name. Now, that's saying something.

To rl: I guess all the rape that African American men commit now is no indication of past rapes, huh? All those past "alleged" rape cases (and subsequent lynchings) must have all been false, made up by white women...just like all the fake cases we have now...right? DNA means nothing. It's a White conspiracy! Those White Devils! (oops, I mean "Blue Devils")

""Power to u rl,brothers have been done worst. Why is Sassymom asking us to get over it. Have the Jews gotten over the holocaust or been asked to forget? There are *does* looking for the south to rise again. We need to be vigilant, assuring that people of North Carolina and the world don't forget what happened to us years ago. Just look,we just commemorated the sit in at the Woolworth in Greensboro, our history in America is just beginning.Power to the people!!!!!" Power to a thesarus and spell check. What a living stereotype. " "Does" is my favorite by far. I can just hear him saying it that way too.

rl...a little history lesson for you..African tribes such as the Zulu's sold their own people into slavery. So, before you continue to blame the white race for everything that has gone wrong in your life...take a look back. BTW...not only black people were slaves and were hung and were made to work in the field. It's just the other races have learned to move on...no they have not forgotten it they just decided to rise above it. A lesson you could learn. And by the way as you can see by the post anything anyone has said against the black race has been said to be racist even though we are just pointing out the facts as well. So what does that make you...a racist too I would suspect.
