Eastern Carolina may not get any snow from the approaching storm, but that's not stopping US Airways from giving passengers a break.
The airline has issued a winter-weather wavier for passengers with flights scheduled through Sunday from selected airports. Those include airports in Greenville, Jacksonville, New Bern, and Raleigh-Durham.
The airline says because of the storm, customers can make one change to their travel plans without change fees or an advance purchase requirement.
United has done the same thing for passengers flying to, from or through North Carolina, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
