RALEIGH - The second annual Got to Be NC Ag Jam presented by Food Lion and WITN will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 and will star country music’s “Redneck Woman” , Gretchen Wilson and other notable Nashville acts such as Josh Thompson, Sarah Buxton, Jason Jones, Johnny Orr & The South Station Band (featuring Grace Isley) and many more. The event will be at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek in Raleigh.
The event will feature NC food products from local growers and producers, giving those that attend a chance to listen to great country music, while they sample fresh, delicious products, made right here in North Carolina. The Got To Be NC is sponsored entirely by NC companies and organizations including Food Lion, NC Egg Farmers, Golden Grove Candy Company/Carolina Crisp, Doug Brown Design, The Q Shack and Springhill Outfitters.
Tickets to the family friendly food and music festival go on-sale this Friday, August 14th at 10 am.
