Duke LAX Accuser Back In Jail

The woman who falsely accused Duke University lacrosse players of rape has been taken back to jail, accused of violating a release agreement.

Multiple media outlets reported Thursday that Crystal Gail Mangum was taken into custody after court officials accused her of violating visitation hours with her children.

Mangum is charged with arson, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and resisting police for a domestic violence call at the home she shared with her then-boyfriend in Durham in February.

In 2006, Mangum told police she was attacked at a Duke lacrosse team party where she was hired to perform as a stripper. The state attorney general's office later concluded there was no credible evidence an attack ever occurred.

Don't worry, folks. Our esteemed Rev. Jackson will be here within hours to aid and confort this beautiful child of the inner city ghetto. Fat Al will be on the next flight after wolfing down a dozen Nathan's Hot Dogs and a gallon of Kool-Aid.

She is an average looking black woman looking for a payoff. No matter what lies she comes up with or who she hurts. This woman either has no conscience or needs professional help or both.

Mike Nifong was the Democratic district attorney for the state's 14th Prosecutorial District in Durham County, NC. He staked his entire career simply to win a tough reelection fight against two opponents in Durham, a city with a sizable black community. Orlando Sentinel and The Washington Post Writers Group columnist Kathleen Parker coined a neologism using his name: "Now we can 'Nifong' someone when we want to trump up criminal charges based on flimsy evidence allegedly for political purposes. In short, when we want to screw up someone's life." Freda Black, in her 2008 run for Durham County District Attorney, also employed this term as part of her campaign platform: "Don't get 'Nifonged' again!"
