A convicted sex offender from Pitt County has been arrested for working at a Raleigh day care center.
James Freeman is charged with one felony count of sex offender on child premises, indecent liberties with a child and failure to report an address change. The 50-year-old Freeman was convicted in Pitt County in 1996 for multiple counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.
Freeman has worked for over a year and a half at the Quality Education Institute in Raleigh.
