Winterville police have two robberies from the same day to solve. Officials say the Family Dollar store at Old Tar and Worthington Roads was robbed Sunday morning, hours before the Wilco Hess across the street was robbed.
Det. Sgt. Deanna Jones with the Winterville Police Department says the robbery at the Family Dollar was robbed around 11:40 a.m. Sunday, when two employees were there. She says no one was injured.
Just before 8 p.m. Sunday, the Wilco Hess was robbed. It's not clear if the two robberies are related.
