Police say a man wanted on more than two dozen charges ran from police Wednesday in Greenville and into a hospital, but he wasn't on the run for long.
Greenville officers say they saw Christopher Moore leaving a home on Joel Drive. He was wanted for probation violations.
Officers say they pulled over Moore's car off Stantonsburg Road where Moore turned into the parking lot of Vidant Medical Center, and then jumped out ran into the hospital.
Warrant officers and hospital police located the suspect following a brief search.
Moore was taken into custody and transported to the Pitt County Detention Center on a total of 26 charges, including probation violations, breaking and entering, a Virginia home invasion and a fugitive warrant.
Bond was set at $402,000.
