A recently published Greenville Police report showed two senior citizens were part of a small group, robbed in their home at gunpoint.
That report indicated officers were called to the reported armed robbery at 1:32 Tuesday morning at 910 Howell Street in Greenville.
Police spokeswoman Kristen Hunter said the victims did not call 911 to report the crime until nearly half an hour after it occurred.
Hunter said victims reported answering a knock at their door to find three men who forced their way in, demanding money.
According to the case report, three suspects armed with two guns came into the home and robbed the adults inside of a .38 caliber gun. Hunter added the suspects also took cash.
The victims ranged in ages from an 84-year-old woman to a 54-year old woman. A 77-year-old man and 54-year-old man were also present during the armed robbery.
No injuries to the victims were reported.
Officials said the investigation is on-going.
Hunter said the witnesses were able to provide police with suspect descriptions and officers are now following up on leads in the case.
