Pitt County jail records show two men booked on similar charges involving robbery.
20-year-old Tevin Spruill is charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and aiding and abetting armed robbery.
Meanwhile, also booked is 61-year-old Frank Sheppard. Sheppard is charged with felony conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, aiding and abetting armed robbery, and possession of a controlled substance on premise of prison or local jail.
The two were brought in by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday.
It’s not clear if the two men are charged in the same incident.
Spruill is being held on a $500,000 secured bond. Sheppard is being held on a $325,000 secured bond.
