Police say they have brought more charges against two people charged earlier this week for a burglary on Wyndham Circle.
Investigators say Jaquanne Saunders and Jasmine Spruill are responsible for three arsons and multiple break-ins on the street this month.
The two are now charged with two counts of second degree arson, one counts of attempted first degree arson, and one count each of felony breaking and entering, second degree burglary, larceny after breaking and entering, and larceny of a firearm.
Police say they do not anticipate any additional arrests in these cases.
Bond for Saunders was raised an additional $140,000, while Spruill's arrest is pending.
Greenville police say they have charged two people with break-ins in a neighborhood that has seen a rash of arson fires.
Police say Jaquanne Saunders was seen leaving an unlocked apartment on Wyndham Circle on Tuesday evening with a woman. Several hours later police arrested Saunders as he was with a group of four others walking toward the neighborhood. Saunders was found with a pair of socks in his pocket, believed to be used a gloves in the break-in.
Another member of that group, Jasmine Spruill, was questioned and they obtained a warrant against her as well. Police say since the woman appears to be pregnant, detectives have deferred serving that warrant.
The 18-year-old Saunders, who police say had been living in the neighborhood recently, was jailed on a $30,000 bond.
So far this month there have been three arson fires on the Greenville street where residences were first burglarized. Police have yet to charge anyone with those arsons, but say their investigations are continuing.
