Police say they seized 12 pounds of crystal meth off a Greenville street late last month that's worth over a half million dollars.
Four Mexican nationals were arrested in the bust that happened near the intersection of Verdant Drive and East 10th Street on June 28th.
Those arrested are Luis Pena, Jamie Contreras, Abril Granados and Julio Medina. All four suspects are charged with numerous conspiracy and trafficking charges and have been jailed under $1 million secured bonds.
Police say the crystal meth was manufactured in Sinaloa, Mexico, smuggled across the border into California and they believe the drugs were headed for Virginia.
Greenville police, with help from the FBI, Farmville police, the DEA and other local law enforcement agencies arrested the four.
