State troopers are on the scene of a accident involving a truck carrying military explosives outside of Jacksonville.
First Sergeant David Oglesby tells WITN News that the crash happened just before 4:00 p.m. on Highway 17 north of Jacksonville near Kellum Loop Road.
Oglesby says the 18-wheeler had minimal explosives on board, and there is no danger at this point.
He says it appears the other driver fell asleep and struck the tractor trailer.
