Traffic Alert For Drivers In Pitt County

Pitt County drivers should be aware of a road that's shutting down for a couple of months.

Crews will replace the bridge on Worthington road in Winterville in PItt County starting Monday. The DOT is setting up a detour using Old Tar, Fire Tower, and Corey Roads.

Work is scheduled to be finished September 23.
