Drivers in Pitt County should be aware of a detour on Grimesland Bridge Road in Pitt County starting Thursday morning.
Crews are going to replace the bridge there, closing Grimesland Bridge Road at the bridge site. There is a detour using Carrow, Hodges and Dixon roads.
The project is scheduled to be completed on July 26.
