TRIPLE MURDER: Victims Identified In Store Shootings

The names of three store employees who were gunned down last night in Farmville have been released.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office identified the victims early this afternoon. Family members say 26-year-old Nabil (Sam) Almoganahi, 24-year-old Gaber (David) Alawi and 16-year-old Mokbel (Sam) Almoganahi were killed. The 16-year-old was the son of the store owner and a 10th grader at Farmville Central High School, while the 26-year-old was the nephew of the owner. Relatives say Alawi had only worked at the store for two weeks.

Officials say a customer entered the Hustle Mart at Joyner Crossroads just before 10:00 pm Sunday night and found the three employees shot.

Sheriff Neil Elks says one of the robbers was very aggressive, while another seemed to be acting as a lookout and may not have known it was going to turn that violent. Elks is urging that lookout to come forward with information now. The sheriff is confident they will find the gunmen.

Investigators this morning released surveillance pictures of the three gunmen with the hopes someone may recognize them. Two of the robbers had their faces covered. To view all of the surveillance photos, click on the story image.

According to 911 calls obtained by WITN, the store's safe was open. A caller said one victim was face down on the floor, while another appeared to have been shot in the face.

911: Is there any serious bleeding? Caller: Yeah, he's bleeding...there's blood all over the floor.

911: Ok, is he completely alert? Is he responding at all? Caller: No, he's just moaning.

911: Ok, what part of his body...where was he shot? Caller: It looks like it was in his face.

The Sheriff's Office says one of the victims died at the scene, while the other two were pronounced dead at Vidant Medical Center.

Sheriff Elks says the family of the victims has doubled the reward in the case. CrimeStoppers is offering up to a $10,000 reward in the case.
