Authorities say a Pitt county man charged with taking indecent liberties with a child may have abused the child for years.
67-year-old Victor Shultis of Ayden was arrested Thursday night by Pitt County Deputies.
Ayden Police Chief, Barry Stantley say Shultis may have abused the child for the past three years.
He is charged with First Degree Sex Offense Against a Child and Indecent Liberties With a Child.
He was jailed at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $510,000 bond.

Sixty-seven-year-old Victor Shultis of Ayden is behind bars in the Pitt County Detention Center. He is charged with first degree sex offense against a child and indecent liberties with a child.
