Deputies said the teen accused of holding a salon owner and customer at gunpoint nearly three weeks ago is now being held in a jail cell.
According to deputies at the Pitt County Jail, 19-year-old Trayvond Atkins of Farmville was arrested by police there around 7:45 Wednesday night.
Atkins is charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping, and a probation violation.
Police said the teen broke through a glass door with a handgun at P and P Salon on June 26th, holding the owner and a customer at gunpoint.
After a 20-day search for the teen, he is now in custody.
Atkins is being held on a $250,000 bond, ahead of his first court appearance. That is scheduled for Thursday morning.

Farmville police say that on June 26, 19-year-old Trayvond Atkins used a handgun to break open the glass door of the P&P Salon -- cutting himself in the process.
Officials say Atkins then robbed the salon owner and a customer at gunpoint before running from the business.
Police say they have warrants for two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of second degree kidnapping.
Atkins could stand out in a crowd at 6 foot 4.
