Suspect Charged With Dealing Drugs Too Close To Greenville School

A suspected drug dealer is off the streets, and among the several charges against him: Dealing drugs too close to a school.

Authorities arrested 27-year-old John Hopkins of Greenville. The Pitt County Detention Center lists his address as 600 Glen Dale Drive, which is close to both South Greenville Elementary on Howell Street and J.H. Rose High School on Arlington Boulevard.

It's not clear which school police charged Hopkins for dealing drugs too close to. Hopkins bond was set at a $500,000.
