State Approves Sunday Voting In Pitt County

The State Board of Elections has approved one stop voting on Sunday in Pitt County.

Pitt County Board of Elections director Dave Davis says the state adopted plan "F" for Pitt County, which includes voting on two Sundays in October.

The Pitt County Board of Elections voted 2-to-1 to allow Sunday one stop voting, however the decision needed to be unanimous, therefore it needed approval from the State Board of Elections.
