A local organization that helps out troops overseas is warning people are trying to use their good name to get your money.
The executive director of Give2TheTroops in Greenville says the group does not conduct phone solicitations or hire fundraisers to do phone solicitations. Barbara Whitehead says the Ayden community is receiving phone calls requesting donations by someone who is saying they are a volunteer with Give2TheTroops. She requests you only mail or deliver donations directly to the center.
