Residential Parking Permit Needed For Some Areas North Of ECU


The city of Greenville has enacted new parking regulations for the residential area located north of the East Carolina University campus from East 5th Street to the Tar River.

The new parking regulations establish a "residential parking by permit only" system in which only residents who purchase a residential parking permit from the city of Greenville Public Works department will be permitted to park on the street between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. The cost of the permit is $5.00.

Once the plan goes into effect October first, vehicles found to be in violation of the new regulations will be ticketed.

Biltmore Street
Lewis Street
Student Street
Second Street
Eastern Street
Library Street
Summit Street
Third Street
Harding Street
Maple Street
Willow Street
East Fourth Street
Holly Street
Meade Street
Woodlawn Avenue
Avery Street
Jarvis Street
Rotary Avenue
Baker Street
Johnston Street
Stancil Drive
