A five month long drug trafficking investigation has netted lawmen in Pitt County 122 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of two men.
It happened at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Statonsburg Road around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
The Greenville Regional drug Task Force, the Pitt County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and the DEA Raleigh were involved in the investigation.
Charged with trafficking marijuana are Filiberto Cobarrubias-Herrera of Mebane and Angel Luna of Burlington. The two are in jail under $2,000,000 bonds.
