Pitt Deputies: Suspect Tried Selling Stolen Gold To Victim's Daughter

One suspected thief probably can't believe his luck.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Thomas Robinson broke into a home and stole gold jewelry.

They say Robinson took the jewelry to Carolina Gold inside the Greenville Mall. The twist is that the victim's daughter works at Carolina Gold and recognized the items in question, as well as the suspect.

The sheriff's office says that crimes involving gold theft are on the rise, and that people need to take extra precautions when securing their valuables.

One might ask, "a Penny for your thoughts", but your answer would be incoherent.

This is a "white" criminal. There were no guns used in the crime. This was not armed robbery. Some people don't understand the difference.

I beg to differ. What makes a crime white or black? It doesn't matter whether a gun was utilized or not, a crime was committed. I was was referring to the many articles that I had read and the comments that spewed from the page. Guess I struck a nerve, the truth hurts!!! OUCH!! Bahahahaha!!!

I apologize for not responding sooner, but oh how clever "a penny for your thoughts"!! Bahahaha, I love a sense of humor. But my comment was in relation to the many negative comments that appear when the description of the suspect is different. And how many choose to blame Obama for many of the choices we make in reality, when we are responsible for our own actions. Usually, the comments on a story like this has comments such as the one mentioned in my previous comment. I apologize if you could not catch on!! I truly apologize, so maybe now you get what I am saying. And my comments are priceless!!!

so pointing a gun at someones face and robbing them deserves no additional punishment than running a stop sign? your 'priceless comments' and 'truth' make absolutely no sense to people in the real world.
