Monday was the first day for the Pitt County Fair that continues through Sunday, October 6th.
The fair is taking place at the Pitt County Fairgrounds off of Highway 264.
The fair features rides, concessions and a variety of entertainment all week.
Admission for adults is $6.00 and $4.00 for kids. Children under four get in free.
