The Pitt County Sheriff's Department said it was a miracle they found a 10-year-old girl who was reported missing for nearly 5 hours Tuesday night.
Deputies located her about 10:20 p.m. near the Falkland Bridge in Pitt County, but were unable to reach her from their location. They requested rescue equipment to help access the girl. A Sheriff's Department Spokesman says the girl appears to be OK.
