Police said the man who caused a wreck near Greenville Mall over the weekend is now facing a DWI charge.
Police Spokeswoman Kristen Hunter told WITN the driver of the moped involved in the wreck on Saturday night is now facing a driving while impaired charge.
That driver's name has not yet been released.
Traffic was tied up near the entrance of the mall along Arlington Boulevard around 10:45 Saturday night after the collision.
Hunter noted officers were not able to take a breathalyzer test on the moped driver at the time, so a blood kit was submitted to the State Bureau of Investigation to determine his blood-alcohol content.
The driver of the moped was taken to the hospital for minor injuries following the weekend wreck.
