South Central product Drew Piscorik hit a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Pitt County Post 39 a 5-4 comeback win against Wilson County Post 11 Monday night.
Post 11 jumped out to an early lead. Will Anderson's RBI single capped a 4-run first inning.
Post 39 relievers held Wilson County scoreless the rest of the game. Farmville Central pitcher Adam Harrell led the way with 5.1 shutout innings.
Pitt County scored once in the 3rd, 7th and 8th innings to cut the lead to 4-3. After Jehneil House reached first base in the 9th, Piscorik lifted a two-run homer over the left-centerfield fence for the game-winner.
