GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina's football game at Cincinnati, an American Athletic Conference matchup originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, has been moved up two days to a Thursday night kickoff in order to accommodate a live ESPN2 national broadcast according to an announcement from the league and network Monday.
A start time of 7 p.m. has been established for the contest, now set for Nov. 13 at Paul Brown Stadium.
The meeting with the Bearcats, which follows an off week for the Pirates, will mark ECU’s third nationally-televised Thursday night broadcast during its inaugural AAC campaign. Visits by Connecticut (Oct. 23/ESPNU) and UCF (Dec. 4/ESPN) to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium this fall were announced earlier on March 11.
East Carolina (10-3 in 2013) and Cincinnati (9-4) share a 17-game history dating back to 1986 and last met in 2004.
The remainder of the Pirates' complete 2014 television schedule will be released when finalized.
