Someone is stealing parking meters, and ECU police want to find out who is responsible.
Between midnight Sunday and Monday at 8:00 a.m. fourteen coin operated meters were stolen from the university parking lot at East 5th and Harding streets. The meters were attached to poles that were imbedded in the ground. In most case the thieves made off with the meters and the poles.
Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 252-758-7777 or ECU police at 252-328-6215.
