Man Charged With Trying to Rob Two McDonald's At Drive-Thru

Police say a Washington man tried to rob two McDonald's from the drive-thru.

Jason Chrismon, 39, was arrested by Wilson police Thursday shortly after a customer in the drive-thru tried to rob a McDonald's.

The same thing happened earlier in the day in Farmville.

Chrismon has been charged now with trying to hold up both restaurants.

Farmville police say their robbery attempt happened around 5:30 p.m.

Police say a man ordered food through the drive-through and paid for the meal.

While the clerk was counting the cash, the man demanded money claiming he had a gun.

Police say the clerk got away from the window as the man drove off in his pickup truck.

Chrismon is currently in the Wilson County jail.
