On Friday morning, ECU Police confirmed they had arrested two East Carolina University students: one for selling marijuana out of his on-campus dorm room, and the other for having marijuana.
Police said they were called to a room in the College Hill Suites around 12:26 Friday morning. Police said they got consent to search the room, where they found 65 grams of marijuana, $3,870 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.
ECU Police subsequently charged both roommates living in that dorm room.

The suspect's roommate, Thomas Appleman, was also arrested. Appleman was charged with simple possession of marijuana, and his bond set at $1,000.
ECU Police noted both students were cooperative with investigators.
