Opening statements are scheduled to begin Wednesday in a high-profile murder trial.
Fifty-seven-year-old Arthur Ridenour is standing trial in Pitt County in the case of Teresea Foster. She was found shot to death and burned in August of 2009.
Ridenour has pleaded not guilty. He said his fiancee committed suicide. The Daily Reflector reported jury selection is complete and opening statements are expected today.
