Greenville Police have identified the man they say opened fire early Sunday morning in the parking lot of a bar.
Police say that 20-year-old Shaquille Streeter of Greenville opened fire in the parking lot of the Skyy Bar at 2903 E. 10th Street, after several fights broke out among a crowd there. We’re told that Streeter fired three shots from a handgun at several people, and struck Jeremy Bellamy.
Police tell us that an officer identified Streeter as the shooter and chased him, eventually catching him.
We’re told investigators determined that Streeter was firing at two people, one of which was hit.
Police say that Streeter was charged with 1 count each of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.
Streeter is locked up under $250,000 secured bond.
Police say Streeter has prior arrests for drug offenses, assault on a female, and auto larceny.
The victims condition is not known at this time.
