Greenville police are asking for help solving a spree of car break-ins.
There have been 19 car break-ins reported since June 10 in the city of Greenville. The majority of the break-ins have been at the South Square apartments near Pitt Community College. There have been 14 car break-ins reported there since Sunday, police said.
The thieves targeted cash, credit cards and electronics. One even got away with a laptop. If you know who's responsible, police say to call the Greenville Police Department at 252-329-4315 or CrimeStoppers at 252-758-7777.
The Greenville Police Department urges everyone to remove all valuables from their cars at night and keep cars locked at all times. Police said every car at South Square broken into was not locked.
