80 new East Carolina University medical students were welcomed Friday afternoon at the annual white coat ceremony in the Brody Medical Sciences building.
ECU officials say the 39 women and 41 men range in age from 19 to 35. they are all North Carolina residents.
ECU Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics Dr.David Holder addressed the new students who received their white lab coats and recited a medical student pledge.
