A Greenville man was seriously injured in an assault and police are hoping the public can come forward with more details on the case.
Police say last Friday morning Greg Taylor was found semi-conscious near 1206 Myrtle Avenue. The 52-year-old man remains in intensive care at Vidant Medical Center.
Witnesses tell police that Taylor was in the area, near some abandoned homes, between 12:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Police say he was assaulted, possibly following an argument about the use of crack cocaine.
Police believe there are others who witnesses the assault, but have been reluctant to speak with police. CrimeStoppers will pay a reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Their phone number is 252-758-7777, or you can call Greenville police at 252-329-4389.
