A local high school student is the recipient of a $10,000 scholarship from GoDaddy.com.
Brian Schroeder is a senior at The Oakwood School in Greenville.
Ten $10,000 scholarships were awarded by GoDaddy.com.
Though still in high school, Schroeder already has his own business. He founded a software development firm, specializing in creating custom apps like Slango.
This is not the first time Schroeder has been recognized for his academic excellence. According to the school’s website, Schroeder has received the National Merit Scholarship Award.
According to the National Federation of Independent Business website, Schroeder also received a $5,000 scholarship.
