You saw her all weekend on WITN during our Children's Miracle Network Hospitals telethon and now people everywhere will get a chance to see how special 6-year-old Michelle Coria is.
Michelle was our poster child from 2011 and has been selected to represent NC as a CMN Ambassador. She and her family will travel to Walt Disney World and Washington, D.C. later this year to tell their story.
Wednesday Michelle was all smiles while signing autographs and taking pictures at the Food Lion on Turnbury Drive in Greenville. She was there because her picture is now being featured on Kellogg's Cheez-It boxes, representing Vidant Children's Hospital. Kids from four other states will also be featured on the boxes.
Kellogg will donate $1 to Children s Miracle Network Hospitals for every four boxes sold, up to $50,000.
Michelle was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder when she was three-years old and was treated at Vidant Children's Hospital in Greenville.
The Children's Miracle Network Broadcast on WITN June 1 & 3rd raised over 1.3 million dollars.
